      I got this one after being impressed with the author's selection of writers for the more recent collection (2008 vs. 1998) along the same lines: interviews focused on the influence of (Christian) faith on their fiction writing. As both were published by a rather conservative press, I had thought perhaps the earlier one might lean more that way on social issues, but not so - one of those profiled here is none other than politically liberal Garrison Keillor!
