My five-year-old son picked this book out from the local library today -- New Year's Eve. He knows that Christmas is over but the tree still IS up at our house. This book is almost, but not quite, perfect. The story is cute, with a soft, not at all preach moral; there is just not much to the story. The illustrations also are soft -- almost too soft and a bit unfinished looking. But the book is still almost perfect.
