I loved this book for the look at WWII and how the everyday life of two young boys and their family and community are portrayed. This wonderful series is an in depth chronicle of the United States during this time and the sacrifices and triumphs of the human spirit.Although fiction, the facts are interspersed throughout the books to give a true picture of our lives and times during war. Great read.
