A great collection of illustrations and essays from a wide selection of artists, thinkers and writers: Blake, John Ruskin, Rilke, Mary Baker Eddy, Beckett, Proust, Spillane . . . this is one of my favorite kind of books to own because I dip in and out of it over the years. So happy I found it at every reader's Shangri-La: Powells!!!
