I was looking for an "easy" or "primer" to the LSAT and came across Shah's book. I read two other one's but they were too simple talking about how long the LSAT is for etc. This, however is an excellent resource if you are looking for an easy read that will help you learn how to recognize and analyze LSAT questions fast. It's more tips and tricks throughout the book. So, it's best to read and reread when you start analyzing problem. I loved it though.

This is the first LSAT prep book I've read. It gave me the basics, gave me some tips, and laid everything out so succinctly. This book has helped me immensely in the way that I approach the exam and my mindset about studying. I'm now more efficient and know exactly how to read through the "fluff" to get the main points across. If your studying for the LSAT you should put this on your top 3 reading list prior to taking a prep course.

Clear and informative. Some of his ideas makes me what to take the test for law school just to see if this works! I was greatly impressed by his research and many many acceptance letters her received using this method.I strongly urge anyone who wants to pass LSAT with high marks, to read this book.

I finished LSAT Necessary and I plan to keep this on your Desk Daily throughout my LSAT GRIND. I feel more confident now taking in the big picture and learning exactly "how to think" about this test. I too came from a background that was not logical or philosophical in nature so this book hit home. Great for the non-traditional student.

Very effective Primer. Read this before taking a course. I took a 2 mo course and read this after. I wish I would have read this before. Great intro book to the LSAT

I was surprised by the amounts of raw strategy found within this book. The reading comp section alone is worth 10x the list price of the book. Phenomenal find.
