It's a cute one and went over well at storytime, but I reallty don't like the page that says "if snowflakes tasted like honey we wouldn't need bees". I interjected here that that was silly and we need bees for pollination.

A playful rhyming story in which snowflakes are imagined to taste like many favorite things and a character very reminiscent of Peter from Keats' The Snowy Day plans how to prepare/eat them. Great seasonal read aloud supported by digital artwork. PreK-2.

A cleverly written book with tons of rhyming and silliness. Many of the "ifs" imply Christmas, but it is never spoken or referred, so this could be used for the holiday or a winter theme.Soft, simple, colorful illustrations top off this fun book.

Such a sweet little book. I totally agree with itif snowflakes tasted like fruitcakes I would give them all away too. I would also not wish for snow as much as I usually do.
