Great Hero. Okay heroine.I love how "The Daddy Series" portrays so vividly the hectic life of a parent. It's almost miraculously that a love story can emerge from the chaos, but it does. I loved how well crafted the Hero (John ) was. From his melancholy and stoic, laconic nature to how he regressed in his language skills when he talked to his two-year-old. The main reason I didn't give it five stars was because the heroine Molly seems unforgiving. John is a committed policeman and she judges him [...]

The second book in The Daddy School is all about Molly, who was introduced in the first book. She intrigued me in Father Found and she's even better in Father Christmas. John was introduced in the first book, too. He's the one who helped to locate Samantha's mother and get everything resolved. He's much better in Father Christmas, too. It was fun to watch the two of them struggle through their hang-ups, put preconceived notions aside, and reach some compromises. Father Christmas is adorable, qui [...]

Another great hit by Judith Arnold! 1st let me say, I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible. I grab audiobooks whenever I can as they have so much more to offer over a book. The narrator gives us proper pronunciations, accents and lots of emotions, thus adding excitement in all the right places! Audiobooks also give us the freedom to do other things while listening such as yard work, chores, driving & even playing games! It is like listening to the movie on TV, only better [...]

Second book in the 'Daddy School' series. I picked up this book mainly because I enjoyed the first book, ' Father Foundand I actually felt more of a connection with Molly than with Allison.I love cute, quick romances and because I already 'knew' the characters it wasn't hard to fall in love with them. Similar to Father Found I was slightly disappointed by the mind sets of the main characters, but as with any romance, it all was worked out.

Sweet RomanceI can understand why Molly had reservations about John being a cop, but I don't understand why she didn't have them at the beginning if the relationship.I also wondered why she didn't explain her sister's feelings about police officers to John, especially after Gail confronted him with such hostility. Those were two things that bothered me about this book But, overall, it was a sweet romance. I did enjoy the relationship between John and his son, Mike.

What a Wonderful Story! In my opinion this book is an absolutely awesome story with everything it takes to make one. It has beautifully complicated characters with even more complicated lives who have to deal with those complications in order to have their happily ever after.
