      This guide is divine. Its advice on the best shops to visit, when, and what they serve is absolutely invaluable. I can't wait to try some of these out!

      Not that I'm going any time soon, but it's best to be prepared. I disagreed with the author - she seems to think you can't find any croissants even close to authentic outside France. Au contrair! I can name two places in Seattle off the top of my head that make very good croissants. True, I've never tasted one in France, but I've tasted ones made by French-trained bakers, so I think it's the same. I get annoyed with the "you can only find good _________ here" sort of food snobbery. Sure, a crois [...]

      Mouth-watering! Probably better for someone spending months or years in Paris. For a nine-day trip, it's a bit torturous since there's no way a person could hit all the fantastic eateries described in this tiny fat book. Nice clarification of French pastry terms and some beautiful photography.

      Lol, I'll say I've read this but I'm always dipping into it! A fabulous book if you have a passion for patisserie, cooking & there's a bit of history as well! Love it! ❤
