THIS IS THE BOOK THAT STARTED IT ALL.Book one in the caught series by CM Steele.I loved this book and yes it was hot and smutty but it was cute and funny also. The hero and the heroine have an instant connection and they have to overcome a lot to be together.I thought that Elizabeth (our heroine) was an amazingly balanced young lady given that her home life was so messed up. Her stepmother and "father" supposedly tried to sell her off in a prostitution ring. It's only by chance that she then met [...]

Heroine is 17 and still in high school. Hero is a 32 year old lawyer. So there is a 15 year age difference which might annoy some people but I love it! Hero is OTT obsessive and alpha and possessive! Elizabeth was so sweet, she was perfect for Jackson! Only problem is that the writing style in this one is bad. It switches POVs among everyone without warning and switches from 1st person to 3rd constantly so it is confusing but I still enjoyed reading this!

First book in Caught Series. It's about Jackson, 32 and Elizabeth,17 but her age is legal in their state.Jackson was a lawyer and partner in his firm. He's the one handling the case of Elizabeth's stepmom, Laney who's the suspect for her dad's murder but was still missing. At first, she thought Jackson was Laney's lover and she had a boyfriend (Tommy) at the time. But Jackson told her not to see him anymore. And she later on found out that Tommy cheated on her. They got married in Vegas before me [...]

I got to chapter 4 and I simply had to DNF. There're so many POVs' and nothing to indicate them (where one starts/ends). It got me so frustrated. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is that there is potential to an actual story.

Jackson saw her and knew she was going to be his future. Elizabeth saw him and was furious he was her step mothers lover, boy was she wrong. As Jackson tries to reign Elizabeth in they discover shady dealings and a plan to ruin both of them.I had a problem with the age in this one, she is seventeen and he is in his thirties. I just didn't sense a connection and some of the dialog just fell short for me. I like the author a lot but this one just didn't grasp me.

Another old read that I never rated or reviewed. This was about the hero named Jackson who is hired by the heroine's stepmother because the father has disappeared and is assumed dead. Jackson sees the heroine Elizabeth and knows she is the one. The heroine doesn't like the hero at first because she thinks he has something going on with her stepmother but once that is cleared they are full speed ahead with many secrets that come out about her and her family as her and the hero get together. This w [...]

This is the first book in the Caught series. Jackson Blake is a partner in the law firm he started with his best friend, Caleb James. He's originally from Maine but just opened an office in Seattle so he's there over seeing things. Elizabeth Homan is a 17 year old high school senior, her Father is missing & her Stepmother is being blamed for his disappearance. Her Stepmother seeks council from Jackson's firm but after she repeatedly flirts with him he tells her no. Jackson is instantly capti [...]

Felt like reading Jordan Silver's books but got confused by the change of POV. For instance, one paragraph was told by H, and then the next one was h's POV, and another one was told by H's friend . . .

I loved this book! it had lots of suspense, was one of those over the top instalove stories that I love so much. it was told in a dual pov but at times you get thoughts from other characters which was cool. I loved Jackson. he was alpha and jealous and wanted to get Elizabeth pregnant from the moment he laid eyes on her but was very protective over her as well. Elizabeth seemed like a shy push over type at first but then she broke out of her shell and was awesome. Can't wait to read the rest of [...]

Seriously I don't know how I have not read this book. If you love insta everything but a touch of drama then you will love this! C.M. Steele does not disappoint in this book. It is a must read and I am looking forward to the rest in this series.

    12. M M

Love this story. They get together and stay together. Just a small ow drama, but it didn't cause problems between the mcs.

    13. Tiblu

I wanted to like it, more than I did Jackson was just TOO MUCH! And She's way away too young ;(17 alone is way to young but 17 and 32 ? That's not even legal is it ? This is my 4th book with Ms. Steel's Uber Alpha males and as much as I wanted like and believe me I TRIED!! A 32 your old man taking one look at a 17 girl and pursuing her like a grown woman one minute and taking her life over like the child she is the next ?I mean dragging her off to Vegas to marry before she's even had a chance to [...]

    14. Kerry Richardson

I have given this book 3☆ but it was far from perfect. First I wasn't keen on the age difference, he was 32 and a lawyer and she was 17 and still in school. I'm not against age gaps in general but I think 17 to 32 was verging on paedophilia territory. Also the writing style was terrible, the POV's were all over the place and it was easy to get lost and not know who the hell was "talking". There were many grammatical errors and mistakes and extremely poor editing throughout and the author serio [...]

InterestingWhat's interesting is the concept but it's too chocked full of details and subplots. Missing persons case could be a murder but no proof. Devolved into prostitution, blackmail, drugs, kidnapping, murder, attempted murder, and embezzlement. Toss in cheesy dialogue and the absolutely unbelievable kidnapped girl is reunited with her family who just happen to be involved in these characters and plots. It's difficult at times to figure out who is speaking and whose thoughts are whose. A bet [...]

CM Steele, what in the ever loving train wreck is this? OTT possessive H/ - Check, Jailbait naive doormat /h - Check/Check, Wormhole of plot line - Check/Check/Check. This normally would not be off-putting for me. The writing was scattered with POV that gave me whiplash. This girl can deal with a naive heroine, Alexa Riley fan anyone? This flavor of koolaid is not for me. This is my first read by author, not sure if I will give a second go.

    17. Raine

*****Re-read for the 2nd time*****Last read on 11/25/15Not a bad read. I remember liking it a lot the first time around, but this second time I thought that the writing was a little bit stilted and could us work with the flow of the dialogue, the inner thoughts dialog and the story itself. Changed my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars.

    18. Amanda

Dnf. Sorry, couldn't do it. She was 17 (even though the author made sure to note that the age of consent in that state was 17) and still in high school. He is a 32 year old lawyer. For those not good with math, that is a 15 year age difference when she isn't even considered legal in the majority of this country's states.

    19. Crystal

Yes I agree the author could have used an editor but that is what happens when you self publish. There could have been a few more periods and paragraph breaks when changing from the character's POV to just general narration of a scene but it did not take away anything from the story, itself. It was a sexy read and entertaining. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

    20. Leesaann

GoodThis reminds me of a Jordan Silver book. Super cocky strong alpha male, young woman, hot scenes, overprotective issuesmilar but good. There were some issues with the grammar, sometimes it was confusing as to whose point of view it was but not enough that I stopped reading. This author will be on my watch list and this book will be on my 're-read list.

    21. bookaholic

DNF at 40%After reading a short story by this author I had high hopes for this one. Though this book had an ott obsessive H, which I love, the writing was so full of grammatical errors and missing words that I just couldn't get into it.

    22. Renee

The writing style in this one is pretty bad. It switches POVs among everyone without warning and switches from 1st person to 3rd constantly. Also, the writing tends to be disjointed and tends to come across as someone writing too fast and not proof reading after.

    24. Melissa Blakeney

YuuummmyOk this was seriously everything I love about a book. It had the older Alpha with the sassy innocent young girl. It was just all-around flaming sexy. Must must read

    25. Jeannette

Great bookI liked this book. I loved the characters and their story line. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Wonderful author.
