This is probably the worst edited book I've ever read -- even worse than Twilight. There are several tense changes, repeated words, typos, and word choices that just don't make sense. I think the choice of being first person hurts the story. The church members gossiping is an important theme, and of course the preacher's wife is careful to avoid gossiping and keeps her peace quite a bit over the course of the book. This book has some editing problems, but its quite realistic as to what happens in a modern day church. LOVED IT! Author is also from Houston and a graduate of UT Austin, gotta support our local talent:)!

I am on page 71. I have been slowly reading this book but enjoying every page. This book is really giving a true look at what happens at hte church and how the pastor's wife really have to be on her game. It's alot like being the First Lady of the United States. I'll finish at my own pace.

I loved it! It was very realistic and very insightful. Justice was served at the end. I like that the drama in the story was relatable in so many ways. I would recommend this book to others and I would also read it again.

The story read a little to immature and petty for my taste. I read up to pg. 34 & then skipped to the last 2 chapters.
