      An unusual book. Written in the style of many of my favourite 1930's murder mysteries. Having C.S. Lewis as the detective was fun. This allowed historical details from his life to be included. It also allowed him to share his faith as he would have done it. It worked. I found the book engaging and am about to read book number 3 in the set. Keep them coming Kel.

      Ok, so, second one. Last one I said the religious discussion was insulting to whoever the audience was intended to be with really poor points made, this time it's more insulting to the atheist but still insulting to the christian. The reason it's insulting to the atheist is because apparently the atheist has forgotten all about the common knowledge of Christianity (Jesus, god, heaven, hell) and needs these basics explained to him, even shit he referenced in the first book.       The second of Kel's C S Lewis books. I found the storyline here to be a little less engaging than the first.The characters were a little less-developed and the dialogue between Morris and Lewis was more contrived, less natural.Overall I like the way they're both written, but, for me, the Body in the Basement was a little better.
