Action-packed, fast-paced, and appropriately scary! Agent 87 is an awesome, butt-kickin' spy with great sidekicks. If you like globetrotting adventures like Indiana Jones and James Bond with a woman spy and a twist of horror, this one is for you! I can definitely see this being a movie.

I'm not gonna lie, at first I thought this was pretty ridiculous (it was pitched to me as WW2 steampunk, zombie, pulp adventure tale) but then I accepted it for what it was, a true pulp novel with a rapid pace and action set pieces. Once I did that, it kept me engaged throughout and I found myself enjoying it. There are a few black and white illustrations which maintain that pulp feel. If you like pulp, you'll get into it.

Picked up this gem at the New York BookCon in May. I did not have any expectations for this novel above being a pulp spy story. I was not disappointed. In the vein on The Shadow and Green Hornet, Agent 87 has us believing there isn't a hostile situation she can't diffuse. This was an excellent introduction adventure for our "rookie" spy. Can't wait to see what unimaginable web of intrigue our heroine gets thrust into next. Robert, thanks for the Good Read.

I really enjoyed this book. Agent 87 is an impressive character and she really kicks some butt. There are some illustrations peppered throughout the book that threw me back to my old Nancy Drew books, so I even got a little bit of nostalgia from the book. Overall, very enjoyable and most definitely worth a read!
