First of all, I'd like to say that this was a recommendation from a friend that knows the author. I'm not usually into the paranormal; however this was an awesome read! Living in Kansas City and familiar with the landmarks in the Ruskin Heights, Grandview and Independence, Missouri areas, that really painted a lovely picture. The author did, as well with her descriptions of the characters. I could really see them and feel theme other emotions I felt will spoil the book if She ended it on a cliff [...]

Book received with a giveaway from the author. It's really easy to read and I like the idea of the main character that keeps seeing and talking to ghosts.BUT I find the multiple points of view confusing -they keep changing in the book- and this continuing change keeps me from emphatize with any of the characters.I find it flat at times, there isn't real characters depth and since I couldn't emphatize I don't particularly care about the characters' destiny.Even the cliffhanger at the end doesn't [...]

Disclosure: I won this book on I enjoyed reading this book. It was eerie but not in a "creep you out" kind of way. I enjoyed the relationships between the characters and think the author has an amazing knack for putting the plot together. I would recommend this book for those who are curious about the unknown but don't want to be scared.

I just completed this book last evening. Being from the Ruskin Heights area, I really took my time reading this. I loved it! Very interesting story that kept me engaged throughout. Loved the character development and especially the "ghosts." Can't wait for the next book by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt like I became a faster reader, simply because I was so anxiousI to see what was going to happen next. The characters, whether they were living or dead, were so believable I felt like I knew them. I am excited to read the next book in the series.

I'm not really into ghost stories but this was a great story. I think it has a sequel and I cant wait for it to come out. This was a very "easy" read.

Moved quickly and kept me involved. Easy reading, but compelling story that made me glad I picked it up.

Could not put this book down once I started it. The characters immediately catch your interest. I feel in love with Eric. I can't wait for book two to come out. Great job Dana George.
