I hate to do it, because it's new and I'm not seeing many reviews around, but I have to be honest.I didn't enjoy itThe plotIn a world where vampires and humans coexist a High Lord, Rasya (a born vampire) has a mystery to solve a rogue vampire is in his city (Nadipur)? Terrorizing his citizens? Or there is something else? It's his duty investigate it, and he will.Unfortunately I have some (if not many) problems reading itThis is not my first book of the Proud of be a vampire collection. All the p [...]

It had some potential, especially in the first half of the book, but the second half was a fairly cliched let-down. Also, the severity of editing issues (to the tune of one per page) grated on me. Having read other books with this same editor and not finding anything nearly as bad, I don't know what happened here, but it was severely unpleasant. The author has potential but errors that a simple spellcheck could find are not acceptable.

I enjoyed this story very much. I didn't actually 'read' it as I make my own mp3/audiobooks using my screen reading program, so I didn't have the problem dealing with editing issues as the other reviewers had. I like vampire stories and for a short story, thought it was good, good enough that I'd like to see more with these characters.

Lots of editing issues but I was very intrigued by the story setting and the characters and could have happily read a much longer (y'know just two or three hundred more pages) book set in this world (er, though hopefully with less mistakes).
