Wow, Wow and Wow again! This book was awesome! At first I thought this was just going to be an erotic historical but then the intrigue started building. I was completely hooked first by the eroticism of the two characters finding each other. I really enjoyed Grey's pursuit. Helena tried so hard to fight but how could she not fall head over hills for this decadent, exciting man. At first the intrigue was light, just the typical scandal to resolve but that quickly changed into a gripping story all [...]

I think that Sharon Page does exceedingly well writing erotic historical romance, so needless to say I was very eager to get my hands on this first book in her newest series, The Wicked Dukes. Deeply in You was a delightful mix of suspense, mystery, and dark pleasure, but it was also so much more as well. From the fantastic line up of characters, to the intense amount mystery and intrigue, this book kept me captivated from page one and wouldn’t let me go. I just know that all of you naughty re [...]

This first book in the Wicked Dukes series is an erotic historical romance with a suspense element thrown into the mix. Helena is governess to the Duke of Greybrooke's niece, sister and nephews but has been asked to spy on Grey to prove whether or not he was a traitor in the war against France. In doing so her brother will be forgiven his gambling debts. Greybrooke is tempted by Helena's innocence and offers her a position as his mistress in order to share with her the delights of bondage in the [...]

Because I started with book three of this series, I had high expectations with this one. This was however overall just a good read.Helena is the governess of Winterhaven household. When her family is blackmailed and threatened, she is forced to spy on the wicked hero Grey, and for that she agrees to be his mistress. My biggest issue with this book is the sheer amount of things Helena hid from Grey despite being aware of his trust issues, and how she kept defending her family. Many mysteries trave [...]

I floved this book! It was perfect! I enjoy a super steamy historical and this one delivered. Grey is the perfect wounded hero, and Helena is just a fabulous heroine.I also enjoyed the packed plot, the secondary characters and the setting. Now I'm off to download other stories by this terrific new-to-me author.

Loved it!I really enjoyed this book. Yes, there was a lot of sex - but it was well done and didn't outshine the romance or the mystery. Grey (I know - maybe a bit too 50 shades) was a great hero, who truly has a good reason to not trust and uses sex to manage his pain. This man says he can't trust or love - but actions speak louder than words and a truly good man acts to protect his loved ones without conscious thought. Grey is a truly good man, who believes he is too damaged to love. Helena is [...]

*ARC received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review Helena, a proper governess, was in fact a spy. That one sentence should intrigue me more to read about it. Well, at first I was. Intrigued, I mean. Later, not so much, seeing what a poor job she did it.Helena and her family were blackmailed to spy on Duke of Greybrooke to find some proofs that H's a country's traitor. The problem with that was the Duke. Grey, the Duke, was a 'dark' aristocrat that held secrets about his sexuality and h [...]

Recieved an ARC for reviewOh boy was he ever a Wicked Duke. I can't wait to read his friends, Cary and Sax's, stories to see if they are as bad as Grey. There was a bad guy, or two, or three. It got a little confusing. There was a whole lot of drama, lack of trust, and her getting tied up. Overall a good book but it just took a while to get the bad guy and find out what happened to him as a child.

Say what you will but i really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to more books from the author.

Disclosure: I received this ARC copy from Netgalley. Thank you to Kensington and to Sharon Page for the opportunity. Yes, this is an honest review.* * *One of the challenges of writing an erotic romance is to make sure there is substance as well as sex -- and the author must find a happy middle ground between the two. Sharon Page frames her latest erotic romance around blackmail: two blackmail stories. Helena Winsome's brother is being threatened with financial ruin if she cannot find the eviden [...]

    11. WTF Are You Reading?

The story of Helena and her roguishly handsome duke begins not with her side, but with his.It seems that the Duke of Greybrooke has quite the reputation among the ladies of the ton. There are also rumors that Duke Greybrooke's treachery is not limited to undercover affairs of the carnal sort. MeanwhileHelena is undertaking an undercover operation of her own. Charged with the task of confirming rumors that Greybrooke is a traitor to England, lest her brother go to prison. Acting as Helen Winsome, [...]

Deeply In YouSharon PageThis story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. This is the first installment in a new series entitled The Wicked Dukes, set in Regency times. It promises to be a historical romance with erotic overtures in it. Hmmm, seems like the best of both worlds. Miss Helena Winsome's half brother Will is responsible for running the town's newspaper and Helena herself is an author of a column in the society pages that reveals all the going ons of the rich and famous. It [...]

This review first appeared on I Heart Romance & YADeeply in You is the first book in the new series The Wicked Dukes by Sharon Page and tells about Helena Winsome who is forced to spy on the Duke of Greyson in exchange for her brother's debts. She poses as a governess of the Duke's sister but when she unknowingly captures his attention, she desperately decides to become his mistress instead.I thought there was a good mix between the romance and the erotics in this story which is exactly what [...]

This was an intriguing and very sexy historical romance. In this book there is a mystery/thriller, with intrigue and suspense, and some great very sexy love scenes. I would recommend to any who loves historical erotic romance with a bit of bondage and a little spank thrown in. The author does a great job fleshing out the characters in this book. I felt their emotions and I was reading and rooting for them to get it right. The mystery kept me guessing until the end. The characters in this book ha [...]

Historical, Erotic RomanceEnglandHelena Winsome is determined to save her brother from debtor’s prison. With that in mind Helena agrees to find proof that the Duke of Greybrooke is a traitor. Knowing full well of his wicked ways she takes on the guise of governess. He overwhelms her with his smoldering sensuality and so does his vow to make her his lover. A promise that is scandalous and leaves her weak with desire. The Duke of Greybrooke is dark, handsome and powerfully seductive. He is also [...]

Thanks go to NetGalley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. What an interesting genre--something new to me. This book was definitely a Regency romance, with a predictable plot involving a "wicked" duke and a penniless governess, but the addition of erotica and light BDSM was an interesting twist that I found appealing. We first meet Helena Winsome, who is governess to an earl's children. But she really is the mysterious Lady X who writes a scandal column in her brot [...]

It got a bit disconcertingThis drew me in on the first quarter of the story, from then on, it got a little too tedious and boring for me. Somehow I think I'm comparing it to many historical romance I've read since I was a teenager. Because of that, I find the the Duke of Greybrooke, known as Gwey to friends, turned me off than on, that's because his fords were crude. I don't think it is fair for me to judge base partly on how historical romance books were written in the "olden days". Seducing an [...]

Helena Winsome must use her position as a governess to help her brother get out of his gambling debts. Spy on the Duke of Greybrooke and prove that he is a traitor. But instead of spying quietly from the sidelines she gets thrown into his life after saving him from a chamberpot. How can she resist his charms? Can she betray him even though she knows deep in her heart that he could never betray his country. Can she give up her innocence just to save her family? The Duke of Greybrooke has many sec [...]

    20. Greselley

I didn't understand why this has few ratings. Although I did not like that much the intimate parts but the story itself is very beautiful. The hero is full of bitterness and guilt which rooted from his ugly past. He lives to protect his family and he did not give a damn if he dies or not in achieving it. He uses the thing "s" to forget the past that loomed over his life. He thinks he is not capable of love and avoids any sweetness from the women he was, is and will be intimated with. He is so co [...]

DNF Stopped at 23%Although I appreciate the Grey's straightforward attitude in making Helena his mistress, I was bored by the progression of the story. This is subjective but when I read historical I expect tension, a good game of emotional chess and lots of passive aggressiveness from the characters. The tone is more for fitting for contemporary erotica than historical. And Duke Grey? Why not make his name Christian while you're at it?!Next is the premise is confusing. Was Helena there to spy? [...]

During the first quarter of the book I thought this might become one of my favorite books because it was so fun and unique. I had a crush on Grey right out the gate and Helena seemed so charming as well. Their banter and chemistry was adorable when they first started their relationship. But as the plot developed that nitwit, Helena, became so annoying that I actually yelled out loud at her. I adored Grey throughout just because he was such interesting character with silliness in his heart and de [...]

NetGalley Free BookHelena Winsome is a spy who is also uncover as a nanny. She needs to find out what information the Duke of Greybrooke has been selling to the enemy. Once she does her brothers gambling debts will be paid and her sisters will have another dowry for when they get married. In order to do this Helena must become his mistress. Not just any mistress but one that will allow him to use her body any way he chooses. I loved the concept of this book. Not just a turn of the century girl w [...]

    24. Anny

I think this is the first time that I gave historical romance such a low star rate. The female lead, Helena really and I cannot stress really enough, annoys me. Its like if she is such a bright governess, how can she be so stupid to trust what Mr Whitehall says without him showing any proof that he is a government agent! Also she just can't seem to understand, it is none of your business! Stop butting into other peoples business that doesnt regard you! People might not have died because of your [...]

    25. Rhonda K

A surprisingly good read. I hadn't realized when I got this it was erotica. The storyline involving the mystery was so-so, which I say because the characters unrealistically don't question aspects of the ongoing mystery and blackmail attempts. I think the author could have thought this through a bit more to come up with something entertaining and believable in the realm of fiction. The ending came together a bit too happily and hurried. Now, the sensual passages were smoking hot, and the charact [...]

I loved this book, it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Helena is desperate to save her brother from debtor’s prison so she agrees to help expose the Duke of Greystone as a traitor. The Duke wants Helena in his bed and he is not above seducing her to put her there. Great characters, the Duke is so sexy and seductive, the perfect rake, a story that kept me hooked and scenes so seductive and sexy that the temperature was certainly on the rise. Sharon Page knows how to right a great [...]

Deeply In You the first book in Sharon Page's Wicked Dukes series takes readers on a journey of historical romance saturated with bold sensuality. Two people drawn together on the surface soon find that they are unable to hold back feelings they have long held at bay. Suspense and blackmail take center stage as the hero and heroines chemistry fuel their determination and bring justice and resolution to long held secrets as the leads struggle with angst and hope. Ms. Page's expertise at creating [...]

Fifty Shades of Gray but in the 1800s, but with a mystery attached to it. I loved that Helena was such a strong female. But, what really took me by surprise was Grey's sister and her husband, who seemed fine with him taking their governess as his mistress. It seems almost too counter to the time, even if it it is very hypocritical. I'd like to read more by this author. I'm interested in seeing how the other Dukes 'fall'.

    29. Maria

historical romance at its best!Helena and the Duke of Greybrooke are wickedly fantastic together. This is one sexy read. Loved it. This erotic historical romance met all of my expectations. I love a dark and emotionally scared hero. There is espionage and intrigue, which makes for a fascinating book. Do pick this up, if you enjoy this type of story. I understand this is the first in a series from this author. I look forward to the next one.

Free copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.Overall a good book. Both Helena and Grey are attracted to each other and can't keep their hands of each other, but due to an hidden agenda on one side and a painful past on the other, it takes times, sex and danger for them to realize that love conquers all. I like the writing style and the storyline, but parts were just too long and the sex scenes were okay, but didn't not draw me in.
