Here is an excellent little book of amazing photographs of London from the 1800s to the present day. It's interesting to see how much, or how little, some of the city has changed. There are also some nice references to London in films & books, as well as photographs of famous people including Charlotte Rampling & The Rolling Stones. It succeeds in capturing the dark as well as the light side of the city and shows its peculiarities and characteristics that make London to the city it is today.Although the book is quite expensive, I think it is worth every penny! Also, I think every London-fan will enjoy to take a [...]

A large and heavy (literally) volume of fascinating historical photographs covering almost 175 years in the life of London.
