      This is a fantastic book for giving you an insight into the first Harry Potter. One drawback is that it's only available as Kindle ebook but definitely worth reading if you're a hardcore Harry Potter fan with a Kindle.It gives background information and interesting insights into the first Harry Potter, looking at it in a way that I never have before. Vander Ark cleverly matches up information from the different books, supplementary materials, and interviews with JK Rowling to solve the un-conclu [...]

      Despite quite a few typos, this was an enjoyable read to recap what's important to remember about this book, looking back now at the whole series. It was particularly interesting to see the evolution of the first edition's text to match all the details we know now after reading the seven Harry Potter books. Quite some nick-picking sometimes, but on the whole some interesting ideas and landmarks to think of while re-reading the book.
