Hot DAMN!!!!! What an awesome and wild ride! This series just keeps getting better. And I didn't think that was possible. Just when I think I have it figured out, BAM! Another bomb is dropped. This series is filled with so much betrayal, angst, and magic, it's unbelievable! And I seriously can not count on anyone being trustworthy, because it's just an illusion. I mean, there are a small few that I know are on the good side. But anyone else I get attached to, end up being the evil fuckers. Ahhhh [...]

Ugghh here I go with the 4.5 broken record! Not sure which way to go again. The beginning was a little slow and that might have been partly because of how good Bitter Demons ended. A lot of times when a series peeks like it did in the third book there is a small let down in the next book. Well this book did that for me as it kind of reset the tempo of the story.Well with the story in a mini reset it started to build again. I loved that Mary Anne and Courtney were pulled in a little tighter to he [...]

How is it possible that this series just keeps getting better with each book!? This one just totally blew all the others out of the water! I was literally on the edge of my seat from about 44% and then couldn't stop reading. If it weren't for the fact that I could no longer keep my eyes open at around 83%, I would have finished this last night! Grrr. FULL REVIEW TO COMEBUT I THINK IT'S SAFE TO SAY THAT I LOVED IT! :o)

Love it. Great series.Great characters. Fast Read. I like how both sides of the coin are shown with both sides having good people.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love this series. I tweet about it and mention it to friends on facebook. I received a copy from my cousin Julie to read and compare thoughts for review. I can’t write this review without gushing. I was so excited to start reading this book. Within the first few chapters I was ecstatic with uncontained joy. Sarra brought back the ribbons. I know it is a minor thing but in book 1 Harper had a style all her own that included tying a ribbon around her wrist as a f [...]

Today's review is on The Peachville High Demons series by Sarra CannonSince I really couldn't find anything but good things about each book in Cannon's Peachville High Demons series, I simple read each of the four installments currently available, and decided that I would simply provide my review and opinion of the series as a whole. I did; however, provide a review of the first book, Beautiful Demons already. Each book follows the life of Harper Madison, a orphan who has been in numerous foster [...]

Shadow Demons by Sarra Cannon is the fourth book in her marvelous series, Peachville High Demons! From book one to book four, you will be begging for more!Harper continues to unfold the mystery of her mother and the Order. As she digs deeper, she finds out the secrets that her mother has hidden away in a journal. It contains very personal information about her mother and how her life was like. Harper’s mother had a best friend with whom she trusts only to find out that she has betrayed her and [...]

My Rating 4.5 StarsIn Shadow Demons (Peachville High Demons #4, a Young Adult Novelette series), Harper learns more terrible secrets. People she trusts, those who are supposed to protect and guide her, betray her, and beliefs she held dear are exposed as falsehoods and lies. Still, Harper holds true to her fundamental nature. She is more than ever determined to rail against the evil forces aligned against her. As Future Prime, Harper is expected to lead by example, but when she discovers and blo [...]

Oh my goodness! Sarra Cannon you are amazing! I love this series so much. Harper has learned that there are a lot more secrets in Peachville than she imagined. First of all the Council, they are just mean, evil people and cannot be trusted. The only people you can trust are Jackson, Zara, Mary Anne. Yes I know, Mary Anne is actually nice and I think I might like her. Then close to the end you realize that there are some Shadow Demons still on Earth. There is just a lot. Zara's mother Priestess W [...]

HOLY CRAP so much drama! There was so much backstabbing it was insane not knowing who you can trust and the one person you want to trust is keeping so many secrets you don't know what to think. Harper has to leave Peachville because she has learned people are not what they seem and she runs away with Jackson and meet up with his demon buddies who she fears are the ones who killed an intire demon gate community boy does she ever learn how wrong she is! Harper windes up getting caught by the Winte [...]

Adding a review for this as I've rated it without a review.I remember reading this as one of the first fantasy YA novels. If I reread this I am not convinced I'd be as in love with it as I was when I read this in 2014. A lot of things have happened since. 2014 Was a very hard year for myself so all the reviews are showing up on the same date. I can't explain why they are, if the ratings are justice or accurate I can also not say when I truly read these. I'm just going to say 2014 on the same day [...]

Each book read in this series brings you more intently into the story of Harper Brighton! Shadow Demons left my heart racing and mind intently glued to the details and emotions of Harper. I absolutely love this series! Thank you Sarra for an amazing journey! I'm excited to start book 5

    13. Magan Vernon

So many questions answered and so many left to be answered. I wish I could just put this series down and get something else done, but I don't think I can!

    14. Jenn

These are solid 3.5 star books and I'm enjoying them, I just wish they weren't so short! Seems like the author and/or publisher is stretching them out on purpose.

    15. Pinkpigg33

3.5 stars #4 of the seriesAt first I was concerned that this story might start dragging a little. Because with a mystery at some point you want it solved and while small things have been solved here or there, it can start to drag. HOWEVER, I did not feel that way once I got farther into this book. Things were definitely revealed in this book and it was still enjoyable.

Another winner!!Another winner in the Shadow Demons Saga! This series is absolutely fantastic! I love it, you will too! More ups and downs, in and outs, shocks and twists surprise after surprise. This is a winner!!

    17. Tamara

    18. Brandi

enticingkept me interested and you never knew what to expect. one if the best series of i have read in a long while

    19. Adrianne N.

Excellent! My favorite of the series, yet. A lot of questions are answered, and it is an intriguing lead into the next book.

    20. Melissa Levine

Another good story in this series. 1. I found it funny that Harper 'loved everything about' Jackson, yet, it was all physical stuff about the way he looked. 2. When Jackson wants to take Harper into the woods to show her something she hesitates. "Was I really willing to put that trust in a demon who had killed so many witches" Seriously? How long had that been? Like 50 yearsd Jackson had never done anything to hurt Harper up to this point.3. So in the first 3 stories of this series, it's mention [...]

I really didn't like this book as much as the previous three. For some reason, the main character just seemed so pathetic and useless in this book. And the storyline was so predictable. I wanted to roll my eyes on multiple occasions. I hope that the next books are better.

Title: Shadow DemonsAuthor: Sarra CannonSeries or Standalone: Series: (Peachville High Demons #4)Rating: 5 Stars *****Review:This series is like paranormal romance crack. With each new installment I have a hard time putting them down and when they’re over, I have a hard time with not picking up the next one and diving right in because I can’t wait to see where the author takes us and these characters next. Harper is probably the luckiest, yet unluckiest girl I have ever met in my life and ju [...]

    23. Marsha

This is the first series I believe that I've given each book 5 stars. "Shadow Demons" is the promise of an epic battle between the witches and the demons. Each time I believe that Cannon has outdone herself and couldn't possibly surprise me or outdo her last book, she does it again. In some ways, I am saddened because I know that the series is coming to an end. But that does not stop me from one of the wildest rides I've ever read.In the beginning, Harper, Jackson and Mary Anne go to the home of [...]

It’s amazing how much one’s opinion of a book series can morph as the series progresses. I started out saying that this series was very RL Stine-ish. I feel now that this may have been an unfair assessment. Not in a bad way though. I do not tend to get “hooked” on YA novels. They’re amusing, yes but not addiction worthy. This series is like crack in Arial font. My initial thoughts going into Shadow Demons were mainly grounded in the fact that I desperately wanted to know what the hell [...]

After narrowly escaping an attack, Harper is still on edge while trying to go back to her normal routine. Every sound of a bird’s wings or new face in town, has her looking over her shoulder. After escaping a few puzzling attempts of attack, she begins her magic training with protection spells. The road of discovery leads her to the understanding of her mother’s past and who may have had a part in it. It begins to become unclear who she can trust and who the bad guys are. One way or another, [...]
